A multi-sensorial

Magical Musical Journey

PIANOSCAPES is a new inter-disciplinary collaboration project between Marynka (piano composer/ performer), Dr. Goldfinger (dj, sound artist), Vladimir Grafov (tech/light artist) and olfactory artist Juliya Untilova (olfactory art explorers the scents as medium).

PIANOSCAPES performance is based on the reflective piano compositions of Marynka, which draw inspiration from French impressionism and Eastern modal music. The unique and intimate experience of Marynka’s piano play is enhanced by sound effects and percussions produced by Dr. Goldfinger, by dynamic light installation controlled in real time by Vladimir Grafov and by the fragrances created by Juliya Untilova.

Complemented by the public as an active participant of this alchemic unity, all the elements connect together in a synchronized quantum relationship.

Ecstatic Experience

Audience talk of “transporting to another dimension”, “bringing back long forgotten memories”, “very emotional and intimate experience” and “a delightful immersive atmosphere”. The more “advanced” listeners even talk of ecstatic experience.

Concerts

In 2022-23 the Pianoscapes team gave a number of remarkable shows in various settings, including Monastery Festival by Gardens of Babylon in Germany, a lie-down concert in Pllek (Amsterdam), a number of performances at Slava Polunin’s (Snow Show) Moulin Jaune Theatre Garden in France, and in the Kazbegi Rooms Hotel in Georgia.

Each show is unique, since the location based set up is never exactly the same.

Pianoscapes can be adapted to a club, or a festival setting, indoors or outdoors. A lie-down concert has been proven to be the optimal setting.

Concerts of Marynka’s piano music proved to be delightful as family experience even with smaller kids.
